Background and Identification
Cement mixers, also called concrete mixers, combine cement with water and an aggregate like sand or gravel to make concrete. They do this with a revolving drum or container. As the drum turns, it keeps the concrete inside moving, which mixes it together and keeps it from setting as quickly. Cement mixers come in a variety of sizes depending on the need of the project. Portable cement mixers like this one are useful because workers can make and contain the liquid concrete onsite, which gives them lots of time to pour the concrete before it sets.
Kushlan makes a variety of cement mixers with different capabilities. The 350DD cement mixer can hold up to 180 lbs of drywall mud, plaster, stucco, mortar, or concrete, making it ideal for small to medium size projects. This wheelbarrow-style concrete mixer can be identified by the Kushlan logo on the side of the drum.
