Background and Identification
The LIFX Color 1000 is an adjustable-color LED smart bulb that offers Wi-Fi connectivity. There are a variety of different settings and combinations for different color options that can be set on a timer or randomized however you like.
This model of the LIFX Color 1000 is a bit smaller than the LIFX original. It is slightly shorter at 4.53 inches and uses less energy. The bulb uses Wi-Fi to connect to an application on the user’s phone for all the customizable options.
The bulb itself is separated into three sections. The silver part that resembles a coil screws into the fixture for a connection to the power source. The middle stores the components of the bulb that talk to your phone. The other end is transparent so that the colored light escapes and shows throughout the room.
These bulbs are available in white and black. A two year warranty is included. It is estimated to have a life span of 25,000 hours.
