The MSI MS-1782 was manufactured by MSI and that stands for Micro-Star International. The company is based in Taiwan and has been operating since 1986. It has especially established its dominance by becoming a world leader in personal/workplace computing and manufacturing computer accessories/hardware. The laptop was released in 2015 sporting the latest Intel cpu and Nvidia gpu for its time.

The MS-1782 had many optional components like screens, storage configurations ram, and graphics cards creating multiple configuration available to consumers. It also has a plethora of I/O for users to connect multiple accessories like external storage and monitors to make the laptop more usable. Also its exterior is calm for the kind of laptop it is, and it shares similar design language to other laptops from MSI at the time.

Finally this laptop didn't have any manufacture recalls associated with it, but there is a wide spread issue with the charging system of the laptop that was never commented on my MSI.

The MSI-1782 has a few physical features that differentiates it from other laptops. The HDMI port is on the back of the laptop and the port is upside down. The front of the computer has a horizontal red line. It also has 4 USB port on the left side of the laptop and 2 more on the right side. It also has 4 audio ports next to the 4 USB ports. There are four other buttons underneath the power button. The serial and model number can be found on the bottom case on the right side of the laptop. Lastly, this laptop weighs in at roughly 8lbs and has the physical dimensions of 16.9in (W) x 11.6in (D) x 1.89in (H).
