Background and Identification
The Mindray PM-60 is a pulse oximeter made by Mindray. Mindray Medical International Limited is a Chinese medical instrument developer, producer, and seller. Pulse oximeters are non-invasive devices used to monitor a patient’s oxygen saturation. This device is suitable for use with adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
The PM-60 model includes a spot-check and a continuous mode. In spot-check mode, the pulse oximeter can review up to 4,000 data points for up to 99 patients. In the continuous mode, the device takes data every two seconds for up to 96 hours. Data can be exported in real-time to a personal computer using infrared technology.
The Mindray PM-60 pulse oximeter includes a 2.4-inch color LCD screen that displays a plethysmogram waveform and measured quantities. This pulse oximeter can be powered by either a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery or three AA batteries. Users can choose whether to show the pulse rate and oxygen saturation alarm limits on the device’s LCD. Users can also adjustable the visual and audible alarm limits.
The Mindray PM-60 pulse oximeter includes the model name “PM-60” printed in white font in the center of the LCD display’s bottom bezel. The name “mindray” is printed in white lowercase letters in the center of the LCD display’s top bezel.
