The Ohmeda 7800 is an anesthesia ventilator that was released in 1995. A ventilator essentially assists the patient in taking breaths when they are unable to do so themselves. This specific model provides volume monitoring for patients displaying the tidal volume, expired minute volume, and the breath rate on its front panel which utilizes a liquid crystal display. Additionally, it measures airway pressure and monitors oxygen by measuring the concentration of oxygen.
