The Razer Kraken was the newest generation headphones by Razer, released in November of 2019. The Razer Kraken is a gaming headset designed for competitive gamers featuring 50 mm drivers, a retractable microphone, cooling-gel cushions, and cross-platform compatibility. The Razer Kraken is compatible with PC, Mac, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and mobile devices with a 3.5mm audio jack. This version of the Razer Kraken includes a slimmer design than some of the other previous models and came with a better sound system for better audio functionality.

The Razer Kraken retails for $79.99. They are widely available, with units still being produced today. The gaming world is the intended audience since the headphone quality is catered to a better gaming experience. However, Razer Kraken can be used for any compatible device or function.

Razer is a premiere brand for gamers, meaning the products are of good quality. This headset is fairly new, so no widespread recalls or product failures have been reported. The Razer Kraken V3 model is part of the Kraken device family and replaced the previous headset model, Razer Kraken V2.

This device is identified by its name: Razer Kraken V3. In contrast to similar Razor Kraken editions, these headphones only display RAZER across the headpiece. There is no illumination on the outer portion of the ear cups. The model number is RZ04-02830100-R3U1.
