Background and Identification

The Sonos Bridge is a wireless bridge that is designed to pass wireless signals between Sonos systems and does not have any audio outputs of its own. The Bridge is advertised to work with all other Sonos audio products. The Sonos Bridge was formerly known as the ZoneBridge or ZoneBridge BR100.

The Sonos Bridge can be connected to a router using a standard Ethernet cable; users can add additional Sonos components to their music system wirelessly. By placing a Bridge in between a Sonos component in a remote location and the rest of a Sonos system, users can stream music wirelessly to that remote location. The Bridge also has a two-port Ethernet switch to bring standard Internet connectivity to users’ set-top box, DVR, PC, game console, or NAS drive. The Bridge can also be used to extend the range of users’ wireless networks. It supports a range of languages including Dutch, English, French, German, Spanish, and Japanese.

The Sonos Bridge is made of white polycarbonate material and includes front display LED lights that indicate the device’s status. It includes a slim external power adapter that outputs five Volts and two Amps. The device includes the word ‘Sonos’ printed in grey capital letters across the front and top of the device.
