A hospital bed is a bed that is for patients with a medical problem. Hospital beds have many useful functions so the patients can be in a proper position for the nurses or doctors to help them. Some of the many functions are that it can recline if the patient can’t sit up, or adjust your posture, elevate the bed and lower it, tilt it, or have side rails to help the patient get up, wheels to move the bed around, and many more functions. Many of these functions are controlled by a panel on the side of the bed with buttons to raise, lower, move, and recline the bed.
Stryker Corporation produces a range of medical and surgical beds. Stryker hospital beds typically include a control panel at the foot of the bed to adjust the position of the patient. The name “Stryker” is generally printed on blue stickers around the base of the hospital beds.
