Toro SGR-13 Stump Grinder (2018)

The Toro SGR-13 Stump Grinder was released from Toro in 2018. It is a portable device designed to remove tree stumps by grinding them into bits. Although, theoretically, it could also be used to cut grass in an extremely inefficient way. It is a walk-behind device that boasts a smoother cutting experience than any other option on the market. The machine is also designed to be well-balanced, meaning it requires less strength to keep in position, and the risk of colossal disaster is minimized.

A close cousin of the SGR-13 Stump Grinder is the SGR-6 model. The SGR-6 is more compact, but this comes with a drawback: less power. On both models, the grinder teeth are probably one of the most likely components to break but, thankfully, they are replaceable.

The Toro SGR-13 Stump Grinder has a grinding wheel extending below the device base. There are two large exterior wheels that connect to the chassis, as well as handles that extend outwards for device operation. The device base houses a Honda GX390 motor. The device is primarily red and black in color.
