Background and Identification
The 40PB200 is a 40-inch flat-screen television released by Toshiba in 2012. It is part of the company’s PB200 series which also includes 23-inch, 29-inch, and 32-inch models. As you might guess, each model number starts with the screen size in inches (40) and then the series (PB200). You can identify your Toshiba TV as shown in this official support article by looking for an information sticker on the back of the device. This sticker should contain the model number and the serial number if you need it for support.
The 40PB200 has an LED screen with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. On the back it has two HDMI inputs for digital video and component video/audio jacks for analog signals. For older devices like game consoles or VCRs, the TV also includes composite video inputs. With an antenna connected, the TV can pick up channels in basically any country using the NTSC, PAL, or SECAM broadcasting standards (that’s pretty much every country in the world). For further international compatibility, the 40PB200 can run on a variety of AC power systems used around the globe.
The set comes with a stand that attaches to the TV on the back and brings the total weight of the device to 8.0 kg (17.6 lb). Additionally, the 40PB200 has stereo speakers integrated into the case. If you want, you can output audio to your own sound system using RCA jacks on the back.
