Background and Identification
Veterinary imaging is very similar to human imaging as far as the modalities used for patients is concerned. There is a wide range of imaging types to diagnose the patient including but not limited to ultrasound, digital radiology, computed tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, and PET scan. This imaging provides a noninvasive way for Veterinarians to diagnose disease.
A Veterinarian or Radiologist will consult on the images when they are taken and be able to make a diagnosis.
