Background and Identification

The ZTE Grand X Max is an Android smartphone produced by ZTE and released in October 2014. ZTE Corporation, based in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China, is one of China’s main telecommunications equipment manufacturers. As of 2012, it was considered the 4th largest mobile phone company in the world.

The ZTE Grand X Max includes a 6.0-inch display with a resolution of 720 by 1280 pixels. It features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for added protection. The phone runs on the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system. The ZTE Grand X Max includes 8 GB of internal storage and 1 GB of RAM. It includes a dedicated microSDHC card slot, so the memory and RAM are expandable. The phone features a single camera with one 8-megapixel sensor. It also includes a 1-megapixel selfie camera. The ZTE Grand X Max includes a 3200 mAh non-removable battery, meaning its battery is attached to the inside of the phone with a permanent adhesive, making repair and replacement more difficult than for removable batteries.

The ZTE Grand X Max includes a micro-USB 2.0 port and a Micro-SIM port. And it features 10-Watt charging and quick charging capabilities. The name “ZTE” is printed in capital letters in the upper left-hand corner of the phone’s top bezel. The ZTE Grand X Max was sold in a black body color.
