Elephone P6000 was one of the first Chinese smartphones those have 64 bit chipset at begining of 2015. And the model received good feedbacks from customers because of the good build quality and third party ROM support like CM12.1, VIBE 2.5, ColorOS and Flyme etc. Good news is that Elephone upgraded P6000 with Octa core World Mode MT6753 SoC and 3GB RAM. Let’s dive in and tear down the smartphone and take a look at what’s inside this beauty.

Ho Arie,

Can you share your experience with changing the microphone in this phone?

Interesting guide!

One of the main bug of the p6000 is the missing standard OTG capability. The OTG works only is the USB device is externally powered. Is it possible for you to check this capability and understand if it's an HW (missing USB power connection) or SW problem? Thank you!

Is the mobile data antenna in the same place as in the p6000(no pro)? Where's it? I pretend to crash the antenna in order to buy a new mobile phone :pp Thanks!
