computer quit - dark screen and no more life. Any ideas

I experienced this too (dark screen, but otherwise laptop seemed to respond just fine… like caps and numlock keys were working, beep sound at boot). Attaching an external monitor gave image (after booting into OS). Re-seating the internal eDP connector fixed my issue (apparently it was a bad connection). I hope the cable is not damaged or so…
Try to hard reset it http://bit.ly/2P3n2Fb
IT FIX -
I wonder if thermal pads that look like grey foam are efficient at all. Thinking to replace them with the traditional ones.
Try to mesure the temp before and after it’s interesting
IT FIX -
I tried, conventional thermal pads are indeed more efficient, but back plate reaches very high temp. Reverted back.
lol its not teardown haha, i need assembly guide for wwan cables, but as seems in this notebook neither wwan card, then also no factory assembled cables.
