No longer content to be a flagship killer with mid-range specs, OnePlus has stepped up their game (and their prices) to compete head-to-head with 2020 flagship smartphones. The one thousand dollar OnePlus 8 Pro checks a lot of boxes: a bright, high-resolution 120Hz display, the newest Qualcomm 865 processor, and an array of cameras chock full of questionably useful features. To top it all off, it’s capable of wireless charging at 30 watts—faster than most phones charge with a cable. Let’s tear it down and see if we’ve gotten any interesting repairability upgrades with this price hike.

The battery can be removed first, once you open the phone. It’s only lightly adhered and comes with a pull tab for easy removal.
-
Many components are modular and can be individually replaced.
-
Display replacements, which are the most common repairs, are not prioritized in the design.
-
The primary access point for all repairs, the rear panel, is firmly glued in place.

When I was disassembling OP8 Pro in order to replace my display, I did not pay attention there are screws with different sizes . If I use a wrong screw, it can damage new display. Can you help me ? Do you have correct screw sequence point each size?
