The user manual had a nice x-ray view of the device.
-
The mouthpiece has a really good fit and required some force to remove. But you only need to pinch and pull, hard.
-
There is a fluid capturing pad in the mouthpiece and a silicone seal to prevent it from leaking, non of them was glued or secured in any noticeable way.
-
-
-
Nothing clipped or glued into place so far, just pinch and pull.
-
Nice little Li-po battery inside. Quite a waste to market this product as disposable with a rechargeable battery inside.

The way the mouthpiece pops off and how the tank is built up it's definitely reusable, however the battery charge is a big problem.

-
The tank was clipped on, but came loose fairly easy.
-
Couldn't remove the coil or the leads to the coil, and doing so would result in leakage due to the leads being sealed towards the tank with silicone goop.
-
The x-ray on the user manual indicated some more cotton between the tank/coil and cradle, but couldn't reach it.

The chip seems to only be a switch to switch on and off the coil when you draw, and in doing so also activate the blue LED, nothing fancy here.
-
Modifying this to be rechargeable wouldn't be to hard if you get this far, since there is a lot of space in the battery cradle, for making contacts and such, but you'd need to get a charging circuit into it somewhere which might pose a problem.
-
Wouldn't recommend it though since the coil has an expected end of life after certain cycles, and isn't replaceable.

All parts (that i could take apart) in one picture.

My thoughts. All in all, this is a very wasteful product marketed as disposable, not only does it contain a poisonous concentration of nicotine, it also houses a rechargeable battery that you can't really recharge in any easy way. The reusable model is a a few extra bucks but you can recharge it, and replace the battery if need be.
