I graduated from CSU Fresno with a BS in Electrical Engineering in 1994 and moved to Japan the same year. These days, I like to tinker and repair where possible, and am never afraid to try new things even if unconventional.
I was richly blessed with the opportunity to co-found the TinkerDifferent forum in the summer of 2021 with a group of amazing vintage computing enthusiasts. It provides a safe (from bullying and shaming) and friendly place anyone can talk freely about the hobby they love, without uncaring or unreasonable moderation. Data Backup is a top priority, ensuring countless years of posts are not suddenly and tragically lost.
Although I only have a couple guides here on iFixit, my YouTube channel is dedicated to helping vintage Apple fans learn and enjoy repairing their beloved machines.
