I'm not a program.
But what if I’m just programmed to think that…?
And who am I?
That’s one secret I’ll never tell… You know you love me. xoxo.
Really though, I don't think there's ever a definite answer to that question. We’re always experiencing new things every day, and new experiences continue to teach us and help us grow—if we’re strong enough to listen.
The short answer is that I’m a military veteran and alumnus of Utah State University (go, Eggies!). I've had the pleasure of working with some really cool people in really cool sectors like network engineering, information security, and analysis and reporting. Currently, I'm teaching technical writing and communication to awesome university students while here at iFixit.

Places
I’ve had the privilege of traveling to some pretty amazing places (and taking some pretty cool pictures) here on old Mother Earth. There are way too many to go through, but here are just a few of my favorites from recent-ish days:
Right next to Robert Smithson's earthwork Spiral Jetty (1970). Located at Rozel Point peninsula on the northeastern shore of the Great Salt Lake in Utah. It felt like flying. Without wings. So, I guess it didn’t really feel like flying at all, but it was amazing.
Monterey, CA. This scene happened by complete chance, but it’s one of my favorite photos. It reminds me that no matter where we are, no matter when we are, the two most important factors are the people and the relationships around us. People make or break a society, and the more we understand and care for one another the better off we’ll all be—including the earth.
Cache Valley, UT. Let’s keep the snow cold.

Ice hockey. I love ice hockey. Here's me with my ragtag team of totally almost-pro Bandits:

And on that note… this is important. Let’s take it seriously:
