Good day, my name is Christopher Coviello. I am a sophomore at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University majoring in aeronautical engineering.

Ever since I can remember, I had a fascination with aeronautics. The field which attracted me most was pilots. I took a ground school course when I was in high school, and actually got to fly a plane. After about a year I shifted my focus to the more scientific side of aeronautics.

I applied to two colleges, which led me to Embry-Riddle. The first thing I did when I moved into Embry-Riddle was join a rocket lab called the Experimental Rocket Propulsion Lab. I immediately began working on a research hybrid engine project called Vulcan. By the end of my freshman year I was elected the Officer of Innovation, and at the beginning of my sophomore year I was assigned the Vulcan project lead position.

During my first semester at Embry-Riddle I was part of a sub team which assembled the oxidizer feed system on the sides if Vulcan. This involved using a lot of fittings and well as solenoid valves.
