I am a undergraduate electrical engineering student at Cal Poly State University San Luis Obispo. I have been interested in electronics since high school when I would get together with a friend to take apart all the devices we could get our hands on. We would de-solder and organize all the components then rebuild them into anything we could think of.
I hope to go into a career in power systems. Working for a utility like PG&E would be my dream job. Beyond the technical aspect, I love the idea of getting to work behind the scenes and help keep electricity on for the nation. In pursuit of this, I am involved with the IEEE Power and Energy Society on campus and am spending time in club involvement related to this field.
I have experience in a variety of skills related to electronics like soldering, circuit simulation, circuit board design, circuit analysis, and programming in C++ and Python.
In the past, I have worked on car repair projects, both electrical and engine-related, household lighting troubleshooting, and electronics repair.
I am excited to be working with iFixit. I hope to improve my skills in concise technical writing and instructions and gain experience in collaborative writing projects.
My favorite hobbies include road biking, hiking, going to the beach, and tinkering with my Raspberry Pi.
My favorite music is 80’s rock
