- Materials Engineering - I felt drawn towards this major because it combines a more chemical side of engineering and focuses on the building blocks of all other types of engineering.
- Aspirations - My true passion is music and music composition, and I am working towards one day becoming a film score composer. until then I am also interested in materials failure analysis.
- Skills - I have metallography and microscopy process knowledge, as well as DSC and FTIR Experience
- Projects/accomplishments—I have built my own cigar box sitar, and i have circuit bent a tape recorder to take audio input from my laptop and have a variable speed control.
- Repair experience— I changed the oil of my car once and only got injured a bit.
- Groups/memberships— I am a member of the Music Production Union and the Mycology Club at Cal Poly,
- Hobbies— I enjoy writing classical music and studying nature.
- How does this project relate to you?—The idea of being able to fix and improve my own belongings is empowering to me, and I look forward to working on that skill
- Any other fun facts you’d like to add?—I can say the alphabet backwards in under 5 seconds and I can play over 9 instruments.
