Hello Everyone!

My name is Stacie Schmidt and, at the time of writing this, I am a senior at Grand Valley State University. I study Criminal Justice, as it is my passion, and I decided to take a professional writing course to help me along in my endeavors. Enter Ifixit, as a project for my classes.

I have basic knowledge on how electronics works, as well as having decent knowledge on automobiles. I always enjoy the feeling of fixing something myself, it brings a sense of pride, as well as saving myself money. I am excited to help others help themselves.
