Hello all!

My name is Kyle Mott, and I am a college junior pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering.

I am currently attending Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, but my journey started a long time before that.

I grew up in a small town in Western New York, and graduated out of a class size of around 60 people. I ranked third in my class with a 4.0 GPA.

While I was in High School, I had the amazing opportunity to be a part of many programs, such as Boy’s State, school musical arts and sports, and my biggest achievement so far, the Accelerated College Enrollment Program, through a local community college called Genesee Community College.

The ACE Program started for me in the seventh grade, and carried me all of the way through high school. During this time, I was dual-enrolled in high school and college, taking college classes with the end result of an Associate’s Degree.

In May of 2019, I walked in graduation at GCC for an AS in Natural Sciences. I graduated High School in June.

Now I am at Embry-Riddle, and I could not be happier than where I am. I am learning new things and meeting new people, and best of all, I get to serve my country, now and when I graduate.

The Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps is allowing me a great opportunity to both learn and prepare for a career once I graduate. I am learning many things, from the physical aspect of a healthy lifestyle and marching procedures, all the way up to leadership skills and even how to communicate professionally.

This chapter of my life is moving very quickly, and I want to take it all in. I am eager to help others, and I hope that the projects I am completing here will help others and grant me the experience to do it effectively!
