Hi, my name is Camilla.
I'm a fourth-year student at York University in Toronto, Ontario.
In the first three years, I didn't find my passion in accounting. Changing my major in the last year of university was a difficult decision to make. However, I believe I shouldn't be limited by the choices I made as a teenager. I didn't give up exploring other fields besides accounting.
Eventually, I became truly interested in programming and the technology world. So I changed my major to Information Technology in my fourth year.
After I graduate, I want to become a software developer in a financial institution. Through the code I write and the sweat of debugging, the software product can truly showcase my work. Building software for people to use daily is so satisfying!
I don't want my knowledge in commerce to go to waste. Entering a financial institution can allow me to apply the knowledge I learned in the first three years!
