Hi, I am Minh Le, though I often go by Daniel, and I am a student of York University, majoring in ITEC due to my love of computers and working on them.
In the future I want to be a System Administrator, as having tried it in a course, I found it to be enjoyable and worthwhile, though I am open to other specialties in IT as well.
Though I have little experience in repair, mostly troubleshooting issues that my parents and sibling have when they use devices, but I am very interested in learning.
I am very much for right to repair, as it would be better for consumers, the environment, and businesses that are not giant tech companies.
On a more personal level, the right to repair would more often than not let me find businesses close by to repair a device, rather then have to go to a mall or shell out over a thousand dollars to replace it with a new model. This would both be cheaper and more sustainable, a victory for both the environment and my bank account.
Something interesting about myself is that I realized how much I liked computers and using them is when I noticed that I found the sound of typing on a keyboard relaxing. This came as a surprise as until that point I had not done much typing on a keyboard, mostly using it for gaming or browsing forums.
