Hello! My name is Tori Marasco and I am a sophomore at Grand Valley State University. I am working towards a Bachelor of Science in both Studio Art and Writing. I aspire to be an Art Director, preferably for a magazine or other entertainment source.
Since all of my family is very creative, I have always loved creating art. My dad taught me how to use a camera and my mom was always doing crafts. Thanks to them, they led me in the direction of making a career out of what I love. As for writing, that is something I picked up in high school but didn’t realize my love for it until college.
Growing up, my dad taught me how to repair small things that would be helpful in my future. My dad is a millwright, therefore he is good at fixing things. He taught me and my brother a lot about independence. Thanks to him, I learned how to use tools and make small repairs. Hopefully, continuing to work with the iFixit team, I will learn more about repairs.
