Hello! My name is Ojonukpemi Ameh, but you can call me Ameh cause that’s way easier. Nice to meet you.
I am a student at UMass Dartmouth, in my sophomore year. I am a Computer Science major with a planned concentration in Machine Learning and AI.
I recently joined a research team working on developing neural networks to detect and identify images from real world data. Through the course of helping out with the team, I’ve been able to learn a lot about the deep learning frameworks for image recognition AI and the endless opportunities these architectures provide.
Here is a test result from a network I trained with the YOLOv5s architecture to spot bees.
It was my first real result and it didn’t spot that last one but I’m still happy I even got it to run.
When I shut down for the day, I like to unwind by reading and watching funny animal videos on YouTube. I also got myself a respectable PC rig and I’m currently training to be the next Shroud.
