Hi everyone,

I am Nick P, a repair enthusiast who has helped quite a few of the people on the forum fix their devices. I have also created the Lenovo Yoga S730/Ideapad 730S battery replacement guide. Fun fact: I actually had nothing to go off of when trying to repair my own Lenovo laptop, so I decided I'd document it here for the benefit of others who get it.

As of right now I have repaired the aforementioned Lenovo and am trying to fix a friends’ computer with some kind of PCIe issue and inconsistent windows booting.

I bought an ifixit kit back in January this year and have never stopped using it, from opening my Lenovo to replace the battery to my MacBook Pro to clean it out to the pc, ripping out the cables and inspecting to see what is wrong with the pc (I’m gonna make a guess and say either windows or the 3090 is screwed)

I am also at the moment learning how the inside of these devices work alongside what parts go into them. I am a huge fan and backer of ifixit and have directed multiple people here to fix their stuff (None have worked because they didn't do what I said).

I daily a thinkpad T480 which I upgraded to 16gb ram myself, but also daily drive a Mac when needed (MacBook Air butterfly)
