Hi, my name is Yazly Bonilla and I’m in my fourth year studying animal science at the University of Puerto Rico, in Mayagüez.
y goal is to graduate and be able to go to a veterinary school with a specialization in equines, domestic or wild animals. After specializing I want to have my own clinic here in Puerto Rico.
In college I had the opportunity to work with goats as part of a class. I help clean their cages, feed them and even tidy them up.
In my spare time I like to watch movies, especially action and romance movies. I also like to play with my two cats and my dog. She was found a year ago and now she is the baby of the house. But above all I like to go out and spend as much time as possible with my family.
Despite not having much experience repairing things, I have repaired simple things like clothes. I even help my mother repair pipes in the bathroom or kitchen, fans and even windows.
This project will help me to further develop my technical writing and my way of communicating with others, especially with people in the professional or work environment. This will also help me get into vet school and be able to do great projects in my classes.
And here is the baby of the house, Nina!!
