Hey all, my name is Benyamin Claxton. I’m a civil engineering major at the University of Massachusetts in Dartmouth. I transferred in after a year at Massachusetts Maritime Academy as an emergency management major. Civil engineering appeals to me through construction resiliency, a major part of emergency mitigation.
I have experience in computer repair and construction, having built a PC quite a while ago. I have no pictures of it, but with the lack of wire management and non-modular power supply perhaps that is for the best. My most recent work on a computer was a small notebook upgrade, installing a M.2 2280 drive to supplant a cheap eMMC chip.
I’m an Eagle Scout from Troop 151 in West Boylston, MA, and love cats. My most recent cat Felix passed a few years ago, but I’ll be adopting another after college.
