Hello there! My name is John Lee. I am an Honors student attending the University of North Texas (UNT) in my second year with a major in Information Sciences with a focus in Digital Content because I want to be a librarian and this is the major path I need to go down to make that goal a reality. I aspired to be a librarian for my career, but after careful consideration, I have begun to explore other career options. My end goals are have a good, stable career and live in a house while taking care/looking after my family after I graduate college. I have several skills in writing, organizing, experience with Word and PowerPoint, and usage of Google Classroom as both student and instructor. I also have an eidetic memory which is very useful in many situations. I have not had the experience to fix anything yet, but I am interested in repairing a Nintendo Switch, a smartphone, and a laptop because I own these items and if they get broken I would like to repair them instead of spending money paying someone else to fix them or buying a new item and throwing them away. I have been awarded the UNT Excellence Scholarship IV North Texas Award in Fall 2021 and have been placed in the UNT College of Information Dean's List for the Spring 2022 semester. In my free time, I like to read, jog, and play video games. I am currently part of a group project that will greatly benefit me by teaching me valuable teamwork skills, primarily in how to effectively plan and communicate with my peers, and I may gain new relationships though bonding with my teammates.
