Sarah Sy

I'm a fourth year at UC Davis studying Design and Cinema & Digital Media.

In the future, I hope to write for film and TV or work in graphic and motion design — really any area with the capacity for visual storytelling.

I have always been a jack of all trades. When I was younger, I didn't have a big crew for my silly iMovie videos, so I made do with props around the house, my cousins as actors, and me juggling three different roles as director, writer, and editor.

I've carried on this all hands approach to my work, where I find the more I know about every step of the process, the better equipped I am to tackle the project. I've built sets and run sound for live events, created motion graphics, designed posters, and made multiple short films.

If I'm not creating, you can find me bingeing a totally healthy amount of TV, making a mess baking, or lost in a good YA book.
