I was born and raised in the mid coast region of Maine in the fishing village of Owls Head. I’ve been married to Katalin Vecsey (a native of Budapest, Hungary) since 1991 and in 2002 we had our first child, Kelen, we also have two Mini-Schnauzers, Martha who was rescued from a puppy mill and Isaac who we also adopted. I enjoy being outdoors, fly fishing, hunting, hiking, kayaking, snowboarding, vintage enduro racing, electronics, you name it. You can read more about me on my personal website here.
I am very interested in the use of mobile technology particularly the iPhone and iPad in education and behavioral health, I also experiment with such things as energy recycling and thermoelectrics. I recently started a small business Fourthwall Technologies concentrated on use of iPads in education, healthcare, government and commerce, you can find out more about my business here.
Currently I’m working on a Doctor of Arts degree in leadership studies at Franklin Pierce University.
