    • Slide the battery release latch until it clicks into place.

    • Slide the battery out of the battery bay.

    • Remove the six screws that secure the base cover to the computer base.

    • Lift the base cover off the computer at an angle as shown in the following illustration.

Question I have two of those famous Studio laptops a 1737 and a 1749 ones that have that robber coating on them can I put the DELL STUDIO 17 SWITCH BY DESIGN STUDIO LOTUS PINK SWITCHABLE COVER CHA01 T1158 they sell on eBay over the lid or will they not fit
