New Nintendo 3DS XL 2015 Circle Pad (Analog-Stick) tauschen

Einleitung

Diese Anleitung wird dir dabei helfen, das defekte Circle Pad deines 2015er Nintendo 3DS XL, auszutauschen. Sollte das Circle Pad nicht mehr ordnungsgemäß funktionieren, ist das hier die richtige Anleitung für dich. Alles was du brauchst ist lediglich ein neues Circle Pad als auch ein paar Schraubendreher, und mit etwas Geduld wird dein 3DS wieder voll funktionstüchtig sein.

Schritt 1

Achte darauf, das Gerät vollständig auszuschalten und den Stift, als auch das Spielmodul zu entfernen.

Schritt 2

Drehe das Gerät nun so, dass die Rückabdeckung zu dir zeigt und du die beiden Schrauben auf der Oberseite sehen kannst.
Löse jetzt die beiden Schrauben mit einem #000 Kreuzschlitzschraubendreher.
Die Schrauben lassen sich nicht entfernen, aber müssen gelockert werden, um die Rückabdeckung zu entfernen.
Löse die Laschen der Rückabdeckung vorsichtig mit deinem Fingernagel oder einem Metallspudger und entferne die Rückabdeckung vom Gehäuse.

Schritt 3

Entferne die microSD-Karte, indem du sie nach innen drückst, dann sollte sie automatisch herauskommen.

Schritt 4

Um den Akku zu entfernen, halte das Gerät, mit der Rückseite nach oben zeigend, mit der einen Hand und drehe das Gerät schnell aber vorsichtig auf die andere Hand. Der Akku sollte sich lösen und in die freie Hand fallen.

Schritt 5

Entferne die beiden Gummistopfen auf der Rückseite des Geräts mit einer Reißzwecke.
Löse nun mit einem #00 Kreuzschlitzschraubendreher die acht Schrauben, mit denen die untere Abdeckung an der Platine befestigen.
Hebe die untere Abdeckung vom Gehäuse ab und achte darauf, die beiden ZIF-Stecker für die L/R Knöpfe im hinteren Teil nicht abzutrennen.

Löse die beiden Schrauben des Circle Pads mit einem #00 Kreuzschlitzschraubendreher.
Bewahre diese beiden Schrauben separat von den Schrauben der Bodenabdeckung auf. Die Schrauben des Circle Pads sind etwas länger und daher nur mit dem Circle Pad kompatibel.
Hebe das Circle Pad an, um den ZIF-Stecker freizulegen.

Schritt 7

Öffne mit einem Spudger vorsichtig die Verriegelung des ZIF-Steckers, um das Kabel des Circle Pads zu lösen.

Schritt 8

Nimm nun das neue Circle Pad zur Hand, stecke das Kabel in den noch geöffneten ZIF-Stecker und schließe ihn anschließend mit einem Spudger.
Prüfe mit einem kleinen Schraubendreher oder Spudger, dass der interne Teil des Circle Pads richtig ausgerichtet ist.
Platziere das neue Circle Pad vorsichtig an seinem Platz und befestige es wieder mit den beiden Schrauben.
Wir mussten diesen Schritt mehrere Male wiederholen, bevor wir alles richtig ausgerichtet bekommen haben. Achte darauf, dass die internen Teile beim Einsetzen des Circle Pads nicht verschoben werden.

No where does this Mention the 3 different sized screws and where they go after disassemble.

Great guide, it could also do with how to replace the rubber top half of the circle pad too. I've also done this. From the photo in step 8, there's a thin split plastic washer underneath the underside of the circle pad still attached to the 3DS. You can carefully slide this washer out through it's split, then you can remove the upper half of the circle pad by carefully sliding one prong of the C shape through the hole, sliding it through going round, then the other prong will side out and it will be removed. To replace, do it in reverse, but it's very fiddly sliding the split washer back into place, but it can be done with tweezers. On all 3DSs I've opened, the notch on the C shape on the underside is facing down towards the bottom, on this photo it's shown facing the top, but I don't know if it makes any difference. This applies to both old and new 3DS XL and I imagine applies to others too.

2 of my motherboard screws can’t open with my newly ordered philips 00 screwdriver. the screws insides look like circles rather than crosses.

Thanks for the guide! I needed to replace the internal component of the circle pad as well, as the rubber pad came off mine. @thirtyninester 's comment on Step 8 helped! Thanks to that comment as well!

Help! I'm stuck on Step 5. Upper leftmost screw refuses to come out and I can't tell whether I've worn down the screwhead or the screwdriver. Removal advice please. Otherwise my only recourse may be to replace the entire system. Just transfer everything datawise and be done with it. It'd be a shame if I had to admit I spent $90+ on parts & tools for nothing just for it to come to this. And I don't even want to think about how much a new unit will cost on the secondhand market. I'll be lucky to find one at it's original MSRP.

Hey,

you could try to use a slightly larger screwdriver and see if the screw comes out. Otherwise you have to drill the screw out which is probably still better/cheaper than replacing everything. Hope this helps!
