Einleitung
This is a fast fix for a broken bungee cord for a drawstring gym bag. The fastening mechanism relies on a working drawstring so replacing it allows it to work again.

Check if the drawstring can be moved properly. Should there be any part caught, try to pull it until it gets unstuck and cut any stray fibers with the scissors.

Untie any knots in the old cord and fully pull the cord by pressing the button on the adjusting mechanism until the cord is fully removed.

Use the previous cord to measure a portion of the new cord and cut out part of it to be used for the replacement.

Rethread the new cord through the bag and through the fastener while pushing down on its button.

Ensure that the cord adjusts properly, and you have successfully replaced the drawstring of your gym bag
