Before you do anything, I would fill the tire with air to see. Tires can become flat quickly if exposed to cold weather. It can appear to be flat indicating a puncture and really be in good condition.

    • First do, Per your bikes design getting the wheel off is going to differ. Afterwards, purge all the air out of the tire by pressing in pin on valve. Then take the tire and tube off from wheel with hands.

    • Do the steps listed from directions of the patch you have to properly adhere.

    • Identify the inflow valve on tube and feed it through wheel cutout. Put the tire on the wheel and hold the tube exposed beside it. Set the wheel and loose tube inside bike fork tongs.

    • This can be done with your hands or a screw driver but a bike tire lever is ideal. Here you pull one side of the tire lip and press in tube with your fingers.

    • pictured is an improper tube that inflated before the tire gripped wheel.

    • What you should do is inflate the tube to about 15 psi first. Then massage the tire with your hands to flatten any creases or folds. Do this and it will be correct when you inflate it to ideal psi written on tire.

This is not only cost effective but also less wasteful compared to getting a new tube.
