GE Digital Messaging System Troubleshooting

Background and Identification

This messaging system has up to 30 minutes of memory. The parts to this device include the answering system (shown in the picture) and an AC power supply. An RJ11C type modular jack is needed to use the GE digital messaging system. The lay out of the device starting farthest left is the STOP/SET button. Next to that is the GREETING button. The messaging counter is in the center of the device it displays the number of new messages recieved. Below that is the PLAY/MEMO button. Directly below that on the left is the PREVIOUS button and, next to that is the NEXT button. To the right of the next button is the MIC. Above the mic are the VOLUME button. Above the volume buttons is the ON/OFF/ERASE button.

The outside of the case for this device is a different color and shape from GE digital messaging system 29871ge3-a which is black and silver. This device is a different color then the GE Digital Messaging Answering System 29875GE2 which is black but has the same layout.
