Background and Identification
The Gateway 3545GZ is a notebook released in 2004. It comes default with Windows XP, a 60GB hard drive, and weighs around 5.25 lbs. It comes standard with 512MB of RAM, but can be expanded to 1.5GB. It has external ports for 3.5mm audio jack input and output, Ethernet, FireWire, Modem phone line, 3 USB 2.0 HS, and VGA.
Though this laptop is far outpaced by other laptops on the market in terms of performance , it makes for an excellent tinkering or repair practice project.
