Background and Identification
The Google Pixel 4a was released from Google on August 20th, 2020 as an addition to the Google Pixel smartphone line. The Pixel 4a has a 5.81-inch touchscreen with a 1080 x 2340 screen resolution. The smartphone houses 6 GB of RAM and includes a 12.2 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front camera.
The Google Pixel 4a was designed to offer users excellent camera quality, an Adaptive Battery that learns to reduce power sent to rarely-used apps, and integration with the most recent Google Assistant voice-activated helper. All of these features come at a price point of $349, offering users a solid mid-range smartphone that does more than many other options on the market. The Google Pixel 4a was praised for its camera quality and overall design. On the other hand, it was criticized for not supporting wireless charging, lacking in display quality, and seeming somewhat flimsy.
The Pixel 4a is a thin, rectangular smartphone. It includes a glass touchscreen housed in an encasing. The device is black in color and includes the Google logo imprinted on the back of the encasing.
The most often replaced Google Pixel 4a parts include the battery, screen, and charging assembly.
