Background and Identification
The N6901A is a wireless mouse produced by Lenovo. It is fairly flat, with the entire top section consisting of a single plastic piece. The left and right click buttons are distinguished by a long straight cut in the plastic that opens near the middle to make room for the scroll wheel. While most of the mouse has a black finish, the device has a gray band around each side along with a gray “lenovo” logo that sits under your palm. Since the entire mouse is symmetrical, it can easily be used by either left or right-handed users.
Since the N6901A has no cord, it instead uses Bluetooth to connect to a computer or other device. It is powered by two AA batteries which sit in a compartment on the bottom of the mouse. The bottom side also contains an on/off switch (so you can save power when you don’t need the mouse) and a “connect” button for pairing via Bluetooth. The N6901A user’s manual has full instructions for how to pair the mouse.
To identify this mouse, look on the bottom side for the model number “N6901A.” If you can’t find the model number here, look near the legal markings for the identifier “MA300M” or some variant thereof (for example, PMX-MA300M or EMJ-MA300M). This string of digits is the United States FCC identifier for this mouse.
