Identification and Background
Released early September 2009, the Microsoft Zune HD is the sleek new update to Microsoft's media player line.
The new Zune is noticeably more slender and light-weight, measuring in at 4" tall, 2" wide, and .3" thick. Due to its aluminum structure and sleek design, the Zune is 1.5 oz lighter than the similarly-sized iPod Touch.
The Zune sports a 3.3" OLED display and capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 480x272 (16:9), which is perfect for watching movies with the 8.5 hours of battery life the Zune provides. The Zune comes with either 16GB or 32GBs of NAND flash memory.
