Background and Identification
Released in November 2011, the Nook Tablet was the replacement of the Nook Color, Barnes & Noble's first full-color, touchscreen tablet. The Nook Tablet runs a custom version of Android 2.3 and includes access to Barnes & Noble's proprietary app store. The device features a Texas Instruments 1 GHz dual-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage, a 7" touchscreen display, and a carabiner clip.
