Background and Identification

The Samsung Galaxy A90 5G is an Android phablet (a mobile device straddling the size format of smartphones and tablets) manufactured by Samsung Electronics as part of the Galaxy A series lineup. It was released in September 2019 in white and black body colors. The Samsung Galaxy A90 5G was released in three models, SM-A908B (Global), SM-A908N (South Korea), and SM-A9080 (China). The Galaxy A90 5G is Samsung’s first mid-range smartphone to feature 5G network connectivity.

The Samsung Galaxy A90 5G features a 6.7-inch display with a resolution of 1080 by 2400 pixels. It includes a scratch-resistant front and back and an aluminum frame. The phone has single SIM (Nano-SIM) or Dual SIM capabilities, meaning it can contain two SIM cards and use one while the other is in standby. The Samsung Galaxy A90 5G was released with 128 GB of internal storage and 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM. Only the 6 GB model includes a microSDXC card slot for additional storage.

The Samsung Galaxy A90 5G features triple main cameras, a 48-megapixel wide lens, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 5-megapixel depth lens. It has a single 32-megapixel selfie or front-facing camera. The phone includes a 4500 mAh non-removable battery, meaning that the battery’s adhesive is permanent, making repair and replacement difficult, but not necessarily impossible. The Galaxy A90 5G also features 25-Watt fast charging capabilities.

The Samsung Galaxy A90 5G includes the name “Samsung” in capital letters in the center of the phone’s backing. The phone’s three main cameras are oriented vertically on the left-hand side of the phone’s back with the flash LED underneath the lenses.
