Background and Identification
The Toastmaster TMHP2 Hot Pot is an electronic kitchen appliance designed to heat up liquid foods. The device was released in May 2004.
This device’s model number is now obsolete. It is not to be confused with the Toastmaster THMP2 gas hot plate. Which was released in 2013 and is a much higher power gas cooking device.
The Toastmaster TMHP2 is a white plastic pot about 16cm in diameter. There is a plastic handle on the side and a white power cable underneath the handle. On the front of the pot there is a dial for temperature control and a toastmaster logo printed above it. On the bottom of the pot there is a vent for airflow from the heating element. The heating element on the inside of the pot is coated with a non stick coating. There are 3 small rubber feet which keep the pot elevated from the ground. The device must be filled with liquid before turning it on, otherwise it will be a fire hazard and risk burning your food.
