There will be a rectangular bolt cover on the end of the wiper arm.
-
To remove this cover, grab each side with your fingers and pull upward.

It may help to wedge your fingernails underneath the cover piece.
-

-
After removing the bolt cover, you will find the bolt that holds the wiper arm onto the vehicle.
-

-
Loosen the bolt with the socket wrench just enough to be able to move the arm up and down the windshield.
-
To loosen with the wrench, place the socket directly on top of the bolt and turn counter clockwise.
-
-
-
There should be approximately 2 inches of space between the bottom of the windshield and the wiper in proper resting position.

-
-
Once the arm is in correct position, tighten the same bolt at the bottom of the arm to keep the wiper in place.
-
To tighten the bolt, place the socket directly on top of the bolt and turn in clockwise position until you are no longer able to turn.
