The reason why this guide is needed is due to the fact that memory is a crucial component of a computer. A faulty memory stick may result in corrupted files or extremely slow speed. The procedure itself is very simple. In summary, all you have to do is take out the screws, open the cover, find the RAM stick on the motherboard, and replace it with a new one.

Remove the rubber feet to expose hidden screws.

Using the Phillips #000 screwdriver, remove twelve screws from the bottom cover of the laptop.

Seven 4 mm screws.

Three 2 mm screws.

Two 6 mm screws.

Insert the spudger into the side of the laptop and slide the spudger around the edges of the laptop to free the back cover from the rest of the device.

Using your hands, push the clips securing the RAM away from each other to release the RAM stick.
