Introduction

Many homes have decorative light fixtures, and for good reason. They look much more interesting than your average lightbulb. However, they also make it harder to change your lightbulbs. That is why knowing how to safely take them apart is a great skill to learn, which is exactly what this guide is here to help you do. Be sure your replacement bulb is compatible with your light fixture.

Before beginning this guide, turn off the power from the circuit breaker, and turn off any light switches that provide power to the item you’re working on.
