Introduction
This guide will show how to fix a stuffed animal squeak toy for a dog. These skills may work on any stuffed toy and can be very useful. Prior knowledge on sewing is recommended. A clean work space and clean, clear lighting is, also, recommended.
If the dog toy doesn’t squeak when pressure is applied to it, then it’s most likely that the squeaker portion of the dog toy is punctured. This will require replacement.
This guide will show you how to cut open the plush toy, replace the squeaker, and sew it back to it’s original state.
Tools

-
Using scissors, cut a hole about 2 inches to expose the toys stuffing and punctured squeaker. Make the incision on the back of the toy.

-
After placing the new squeaker into the toy, it's time to sew the toy back to it's new state. Thread the needle with a 6-8 inch piece of thread. This will be more than enough thread to sew the 2 inch incision.
-
After threading the needle, tie the thread so the needle doesn't come loose.
-
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
