Introduction
Zips often become harder to open or close. Most of the time, lubricating the zip helps it run smoothly again. We’ll show you how you can lubricate a zip on a jacket, but it works just as well on other zips such as on a tent or backpack.

Open the zip if possible. Spray a small amount of silicone spray at both openings of the slider. Move the slider up and down several times to distribute the silicone.

Hi Dear,
You can use a soapbar also. The soap needs to be dried before use as lubricant. Just rub it a couple of times onto the full length of zipper, then pull the zipper up and down a few. That's all.

Das Funktioniert auch mit Graphit. Natürlich kann man sich Graphitöl oder -pulver besorgen, oder einfach eine Bleistiftmine ein paar mal über die Zähne reiben.
Achtung: Natürlich entsteht dabei der graue Graphitstaub, also Vorsicht bei weißer und heller Kleidung!
